Speed up your visit by reading and signing the Rules in advance.
What is bouldering?
Bouldering is climbing on relatively low walls (less than 5m).
No ropes are used in bouldering, but the climber's safety is ensured with thick pads when falling.
Route rotation?
The life cycle of the routes is about 6-8 weeks.
I want to bring friends to climb, is that possible?
You can bring a maximum of four adults without making an appointment.
See info on groups of more than 4 people HERE.

I want to bring my child to climb, what do I need to know?
Children under 13 years of age can come bouldering under the supervision of a guardian.
A guardian can bring TWO children under 13 years of age at a time.
The rule is boring but absolute, because safety is the main thing.
The recommended minimum age to start bouldering is 7 years.
Jyväskylä Climbing Center reserves the right to limit the number of child climbers during peak times.
Whenever possible, AVOID peak times when you come bouldering with your children.
Weekday evenings from 18:00 to 20:00 and weekends from 13:00 to 15:00 are usually the worst peak times. Wed and Fri from 13:00 to 18:00 are also the busiest.
Under 18s need their parents' permission to start bouldering.
Parents must read and accept the Jyväskylä Climbing Centre's user rules and fill out the registration form.
NOTE. Also fill in the child's information.
